Santa’s Post Office

Time: 12:00 pm- Closing time varies between 6:00pm- 8:00pm
Santa Claus will be returning to The Battery Atlanta soon with this FREE event—bringing holiday magic back to his Post Office in the Community Corner at the corner of Power Alley and Battery Avenue. Families will once again be invited to drop off handwritten letters to Santa at his official Atlanta outpost (no postage required) and enjoy a timeless holiday tradition together. This free experience allows parents and guardians to take their own photos as Santa listens to wish lists, with contactless options available as needed. Guests can also see Papa Elf on select Fridays and Saturdays, adding even more holiday cheer to their visit!

Tree Lighting presented by Wellstar

The annual Tree Lighting celebration will be returning to The Battery Atlanta soon! Join us for a festive evening filled with live entertainment from A-Town A-List on the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage, special guest appearances, and a little holiday magic as we welcome Santa to help light the tree.
After the tree is lit, families are invited to settle in on the green and enjoy a cozy outdoor movie as part of our movie series on the plaza screen. Come celebrate with us and make it a night to remember—check back soon for full details and what to expect.
Kids Holiday Market – A Merry Afternoon of Holiday Cheer!

Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with a special experience designed for every family
This holiday season, The Battery Atlanta invites you and your family to experience Sensitive Santa, a low-sensory holiday event thoughtfully designed for children with special needs and sensory sensitivities.
The experience begins with a memorable ride to the top of the TK Elevator Innovation and Qualification Center (IQC) – North America’s tallest elevator test tower at 420 feet. Families will arrive at The Elevation Room on the 26thfloor where breathtaking panoramic views of Downtown Atlanta, Buckhead, Kennesaw Mountain, The Battery Atlanta and even Truist Park provide a spectacular backdrop for this one-of-a-kind holiday celebration.

New Year’s Eve Bash at The Battery Atlanta presented by Xfinity

The Battery Atlanta will be celebrating 2027 with its New Year’s Eve Bash presented by Xfinity, featuring two exciting events: a family-friendly early countdown and a late-night celebration to ring in the new year! This event is FREE and open to the public.
Early Innings (6 p.m. – 8 p.m.):
- Family-friendly fun with an exciting performance by a special guest.
- New Year’s Countdown
Late Innings (9 p.m. – Midnight):
NEW! Expanded Celebration Viewing Area (9 p.m. – Midnight):
Guests can enjoy even more room to celebrate with an expanded viewing area featuring roaming entertainment, views of the midnight fireworks and a live stream of 12 South Band at the Heritage Viewing Area screen, so the party continues throughout The Battery Atlanta.
